SPUQC on the Global Stage: Advancing Paulinian Innovation and Excellence
St. Paul University Quezon City (SPUQC) continues its journey toward global academic excellence and innovation, strengthening its role in shaping a future-ready Paulinian community aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Representing the university, Ms. Cecille Claron (Director for Quality Assurance and Internationalization) and Dr. Antoniette Lacerna (Director for the Center for Innovation, Research, and Planning) attended the 2026 Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) Annual Conference and the WURI Global Rankings Ceremony, held on May 6–8, 2026, at National Chi Nan University (NCNU), Taiwan.
Strengthening Global Ties
SPUQC reached a major milestone by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NCNU and a Multilateral MOU with 120 participating universities from 15 countries. These agreements pave the way for enhanced student mobility, faculty exchange, and collaborative research initiatives — directly contributing to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Strategic Planning and Leadership
Our directors also participated in the Certified WURI Mentor Program orientation and the World University Networks for Innovation (WUNI) Meeting, engaging in high-level discussions on human-centered AI, ethical governance, and innovation-driven collaboration. These initiatives reflect SPUQC’s commitment to SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
