Bachelor of Arts
The BA Communication Program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of communication applicable in media industry and other allied fields of communication. It is anchored on the commitment to uphold the use of communication tools to respond ethically on the realities of a borderless and technologically-driven world.
The Program covers the following major courses:
Intro to Mass Communication, Communication Theories, Principles of Audio-Video Production, Fundamentals of Writing for Mass Media, Radio Production, Development Communication, Public Relations, Theater Production, Advertising Principles and Practices, TV Production, Media Management, Law and Mass Media, Digital Photography, Communication Research, Scriptwriting, Website Design, and many more electives.
A student who desires to be involved in Catholic education and formation may enroll the Religious Education Program. The essential goal of the Program is to fully permeate Catholic theology, philosophy, beliefs and practices, the principles of the Gospels of Jesus Christ, and teachings of the Catholic Church. Simply put, it seeks to ensure that students have at least an integral knowledge and understanding of the beliefs of the Catholic Faith.
Successful graduates will be involved in Religious Education in Catholic schools, parish catechesis and other ministries in the Church. This program is also intended to those who wish to enhance their Catholic faith as an integral part of their Christian life.
