Our Story
For over nine decades, St. Paul University Quezon City (SPUQC) has been a beacon of Catholic education under the guidance of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. Established in 1946 following the reconstruction of its wartime campus, the University has grown from a small post-war grade school into a distinguished institution offering Basic Education, College, Graduate Studies, and continuing education programs. Throughout its journey, SPUQC has remained steadfast in its mission of forming competent, compassionate, and Christ-centered leaders.
Today, SPUQC occupies a vibrant campus in the heart of Quezon City and continues to evolve through academic innovation, expanded educational opportunities, and nationally recognized accreditations. Rooted in a rich Paulinian heritage, the University remains committed to excellence in education while faithfully serving the needs of the community and future generations.
SPUQC was founded by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres in 1930 with a mission to provide quality, values-based education.

Our Timeline
1950s
- 1951 • Opening of the Grade School Department.
- 1955 • Construction of new classrooms to accommodate the growing number of students.
- 1958 • Introduction of secondary education.
- 1959 • Establishment of the SPUQC High School Department.
