BSIT Excellence on the Global Stage: SPUQC Students Showcase Cyber Safety Project at Providence University, Taiwan
At St. Paul University Quezon City (SPUQC), Information Technology education goes far beyond theories—our students create real-world solutions that earn recognition on the international stage.
From February to June 2026, BSIT students Lenard Caparas and Reign Labanancia represented SPUQC during a short-term study program at Providence University, Taiwan.
During their exchange, Lenard and Reign presented and demonstrated their innovative project, “A Cyber Safety Hero Training: Think Before You Trust,” to an audience of international peers, including visiting students from Cerritos College, USA. Their presentation was recognized as one of the best projects in the entire class.
Interactive Cyber Safety with Kebbi Robot
Designed to empower young digital citizens, their project utilizes the interactive Kebbi robot to guide elementary school students through engaging, gamified lessons on online safety.
By teaching young learners how to protect personal information, spot online strangers, and make responsible choices on the internet, Lenard and Reign are actively training the next generation of Cyber Safety Heroes.
